Hanmere Polythene are proud to announce that we have maintained the gold standard for food safety, and been awarded a BRCGS AA+ rating for the third year in a row!

This certification demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest quality, safest polythene packaging solutions to our customers. 

The Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS) is a global organisation, setting the standards for food safety, packaging and distribution. This certification helps businesses prove their commitment to safety, hygiene and quality for their customers and end consumers. To achieve and maintain this certification, businesses must be continuously assessed to ensure they adhere to the latest regulations. 

Hanmere has continued to achieve the highest possible rating, AA+, from the BRCGS. What makes this achievement more significant is the addition of the ‘+’, meaning the visit was unannounced. This essentially means we had no time to prepare and the auditors arrived at our premises to review them in their everyday conditions. 

We choose to undergo unannounced audits as this is what most of our customers are required to do. To demonstrate our commitment to high quality and safety for our customers, we like to follow the same precedent. Following this allows us to better understand what our customers require, providing transparency and showing dedication to the highest standards.
