Hanmere Polythene are pleased to announce that we were recently awarded the highest rating available from the BRC Global Standard For Packaging Materials and are now BRCGS AA+ accredited!
The BRCGS Packaging Materials certification guarantees the manufacturing facility where goods are produced meets the high standards expected by its customers, particularly where food safe materials are required. It is a globally recognized certification that monitors product safety and quality, ensuring legal compliance is followed at every stage until the product reaches the consumer.
We previously attained an AA score, the highest available for scheduled visits. Maintaining this certification requires regular audits to ensure that guidelines are still being followed. Our most recent visit was an unannounced visit meaning the BRCGS auditor can turn up to our premises at any time to carry out the audit. As Hanmere continued to meet and follow all necessary guidelines to achieve the highest level of packaging materials safety, without warning or preparation, our certification was upgraded to a plus.
Being awarded this certification helps us ensure our customers that their product will be carefully managed and protected to the highest standards. We are extremely proud of all the team at Hanmere for their continued commitment to maintaining these standards and attaining this highly valued accreditation.
